In the last few years, TCS Upfitting has grown by an unprecedented amount. The company grew so much that we became too big for our previous facility. An upgrade was in order, and an upgrade is what we got!
Our last facility had three bays, no air conditioning, and was 2,000 square feet. We began constructing the new facility in October of 2020, and the construction finally concluded in May. We could not be more excited about being in an air-conditioned building.
In addition to being more comfortable, it features six bays (twice as many as what we had before) and is a whopping 6,000 square feet (three times the size of our last building). To put it frankly, we outgrew our previous facility. It was simply not large enough to accommodate TCS Upfitting’s expansion.
We will undoubtedly miss our previous building; we were located there for nearly five years. However, the old building will continue to see use, as our vehicle striping services will take place there. All upfitting efforts have moved to the new facility.
With more room, we will be able to bring on more employees, which means we can serve more customers simultaneously. The new facility also has a dedicated showroom, and we are very excited about the possibilities this creates.
The impressive scope of this facility serves as a reminder of how much we have grown over the years and the amount of blood, sweat, and tears we have put in to become successful. We are confident that this upgrade will allow us to better serve our customers and help more people than ever before.
